To every reader who has picked up, or is considering picking up, The Empire —
I want to be honest about the ₹345 price of this book. I know that's not a small amount, especially for students and younger readers, and I don't take that lightly. I genuinely hoped to keep this book as affordable as possible.
The Empire is a first edition, independently published in a limited print run — and a physical book, printed and distributed rather than simply uploaded, carries real costs that shape what it can be sold for. None of that is a reason you should have to pay more than you'd like to. But it's the honest reason, and I'd rather tell you than leave the price unexplained.
I'm grateful to everyone who has helped bring this book into physical form — accessibility still matters to me, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. If the price is genuinely a barrier for you, please reach out to me directly at arnav.agrawal2011@outlook.com. I would much rather help a reader find a way to read this book than have cost be the reason they can't.
Thank you for considering The Empire, and for giving this story your time.
